Mrs. Bohan 12th Grade
Currently in my 23rd year of Teaching, I am honored to have your student on my roster this year. It is my mission to make them feel valued, excited and comfortable participating in my class. Every day I strive to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the classroom and gymnasium. Each student is different and it is important to have a variety of teaching styles rolled into one lesson to engage everyone in true learning.
Class rules are clear-cut and presented to the students at the beginning of each marking period. They have a responsibility to themselves, their classmates and myself to follow class rules to allow optimum learning for everyone.
At the beginning of the year, I ask the students for their honesty, compassion and effort during class. In Physical Education testing, the expectation is for growth and understanding of key concepts. Not everyone is coordinated and it is my job to analyze not just the outcome but the process a student takes when trying to execute a skill set. To have differentiated instruction for all students to improve and progress.
During marking period 2 or 3, we will have Health Education Class. I use the 8 Dimensions of Wellness as a foundation for all topics covered.
